The Roles

Fundraising

  • Either an experienced fundraising leader that can demonstrate impact at scale and has led significant campaigns and engagement activity, or an individual who has been heavily involved with supporting fundraising activity from a donor perspective.
  • Experience of driving forward both fundraising strategy and growth and has supported organisations and teams to diversify income streams.
  • A comfortable networker who is able to connect with ease with the diverse stakeholders.
  • An entrepreneurial and innovative approach and is able to both identify and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Able to use their experience to support and enable both the Executive team and fellow Trustees.

Technology

  • Experience in creating strategy and harnessing Digital, Data, Technology and AI and can transfer skills to the health sector.
  • Exemplary understanding of how best to harness data to drive insight and shape strategic direction.
  • Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of systems, cloud platforms, products and services and be able to make sound judgement as to what will best support the ambitions of the charity.
  • Able to be a critical friend and challenge thinking.
  • Experience of supporting organisations to navigate successfully though complex change and being able to communicate complicated subject matter effectively.

HR

  • An experienced CPO or Executive Director of HR that can demonstrate working in complex environments.
  • Bring very well-rounded experience of HR, Organisational Development and People Strategy.
  • Insight into how the world of work is evolving and the issues and challenges on the horizon.
  • Experience and understanding of how this function underpins all aspects of the organisation and all roles and also brings a commercial mindset.
  • Has the knowledge and experience to recognise and  being able to be assured that, the HR functions of the Hospital are conducted within legal requirements, governance frameworks and best practice.

Legal

  • An experienced and practicing legal professional from a related area of law who is able to transfer knowledge and skills to the Hospital.
  • Supporting all areas of the organisation to ensure compliance, sound governance and adherence to charity law.
  • Operated at a senior and strategic level and able to provide support across the organisation.
  • Able to sign post to access further information or advice in relation to more complex questions regulatory and charity law and other areas of law and able to draw on a solid network.
  • Alongside technical expertise, also able to bring a commercial lens to the RHN’s business.
